Plastic, Plastic Everywhere: Suffocating the World

Floating around the Atlantic and Pacific oceans are large “islands” of plastic debris deposited by the usual suspects – all human. These gyres have become a disaster to the health of virtually all marine species that come in contact with the floating piles. If only discarded plastic debris was confined to islands in the oceans.

How important and pervasive is plastic to the health of our planet? The numbers speak for themselves. Our actions speak for the numbers. Our attitudes about the health of our planet speaks for our actions.
